The Hales Gallery became the first target for "The creation of adam" during the opening of Tomoko Takahashi’s new show. A small scale version of the 3metre stencil (right) depicts "The creation of adam", a half toned and defaced version of michelangelo's Sistine chapel fresco. Thanks to speedy work of James Evan and Borna at GRL, New York, these half tone masterpieces are now hitting the streets of Britain. Venues already visited in Cleethorpes, Gloucester, Preston and Sheffield. Various scales and locations are planned in the near future so keep em peeled for an appearance at a gallery near you!

Galleries exhibiting works include: Hales gallery London, Arnolfoni Gallery Bristol, Glasgow School of Art, The Watershed Bristol, The Green Rooms Manchester, Cargo, Hales and the White Cube Shoreditch,London, Warwick Arts Center, Coventry and The Baltic Gallery, Newcastle for the 'Spank the Monkey' show .

New developments with MMs technology will soon make prints of these works available to the public. In true counter productive style these will generate localised art markets at a sliding scale of popularist values.

The Dotmasters test their system during the event Social Hacking which is a series of temporary public art commissions for Plymouth by international artists' groups against a backdrop of urban regeneration in late March.

Then in April Dotmasters have been invited to collaborate with Mediengruppe Bitnik - http://bitnik.org, are preparing an exhibition in the "Cabaret Vorltaire" (http://cabaretvoltaire.ch) in Zurich about Social Hacking. The exhibition will open on the 9th of March 2007 and end sometime in late August 2007 with a festival. The dotmasters visit the town in mid April.

Cities already participating in this stencil campaign, are London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Coventry, St Albans Northhampton, Brighton, Cleethorpes, Gloucester, Preston, Sheffield and Stavanger, Norway. Other locations will be added along the way with cultural centers galleries and media savvy spaces bearing the brunt.
